May 7th at 11:00 am-12:00 pm
Healthy Steps/Pasos Sanos (Bilingual Spanish/English): Stroller walk with other parents and caregivers to children ages (0-5). Group will focus on the benefits of exercise and mental health. This is a bilingual & in person group that will meet every Tuesday in May. Participants will meet at the Center and walk to a nearby park Sunset Ridge.

Cool Kids are Confident: Youth in grades 6th-8th will engage in discussions about self-esteem, confidence, and inner strengths.

May 9th at 11:00 am-12:30 pm
Grounding your Five Senses: This group will help adults understand the impact of stress on our minds and bodies. You will learn tools to reduce stress, we will teach about the benefits of coping skills, self-care, and centering techniques.

Hope Card Project: In partnership with Orange County Health Care Agency Office of Suicide Prevention this event aims to spread hope and build connections in our community through the personal crafting and giving of handmade cards

May 13th at 5:00 pm-6:30 pm
No Worries for Parents: Help your child manage anxiety: A workshop for parents with children of any age who struggle with anxiety. Learn what anxiety is, how it affects the body, and identify anxiety patterns in your family. Using evidence-based strategy, learn to break the hold that anxiety has over your family’s life.

Talk Saves Lives: A brief introduction to suicide prevention.  Participants will learn the common risk factors for suicide, how to spot warning signs in others and how to keep ourselves and others safe. 

May 17th at 5:30 pm-7:00 pm
Coping Plus (Spanish): Workshop for adults to learn healthy coping skills to manage stress and difficult emotions. 

May 21st at 11:00 am-12:00 pm

Successful Parenting (Spanish):
Join us to learn about different parenting styles to create a stronger bond with your children while learning new tools to manage parenting stress.

May 28th at ZOOM 5:00-6:30pm 
4th Trimester: The 4th Trimester Class, presented by Miriam Bustamante, LCSW, is a workshop designed to prepare couples for life with a baby. Couples will learn research-based strategies to help them prepare to have a healthy adjustment to life with a newborn baby. This class is best taken during pregnancy but is open to families with babies under one year as well.
