RANCHO SANTA MARGARITA, CA — A new health center opened its doors in south Orange County, and residents flocked to the grand opening celebration of Hoag Health Center Dove Canyon on Saturday, Aug. 26.
At the grand opening celebration, residents toured the new campus and enjoyed a meet and greet with Professional Golf Association star Michael Block, a south Orange County resident who stunned the nation with his perfect hole-in-one earlier this year.
The new location will be open seven days a week and provide the community with access to Hoag Medical Group primary care, internal medicine and Hoag Urgent Care, according to the health center.
The free event offered activities for kids, including: mini golf, face painting, soccer, balloon creations and more.
The grand opening event also featured:
- Tours of the new facility.
- Meet the physicians.
- Health food demo from Hoag executive chef.
- Blood pressure screenings.
- Vacation raffles.
