Becker’s Hospital Review has named the following hospitals to the 2014 edition of “100 Hospitals and Health Systems With Great Oncology Programs.” These hospitals are leading the way in terms of quality patient care, cancer outcomes and research.
The following hospitals have all received recognition from several reputable ranking agencies, including U.S. News & World Report, Truven Health Analytics, the National Cancer Institute, the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer, CareChex and the BlueCross BlueShield Association.
Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian (Newport Beach, Calif.). The Hoag Family Cancer Institute treats more than 3,300 newly diagnosed patients each year. Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian was named one of America’s Top Quality Hospitals for cancer care in 2014 by CareChex. In January, Hoag announced the formation of an alliance with USC Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center to enhance both centers’ capabilities for patient care.
