Dr. Pham is an Associate Professor of Pharmacy at Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona. He also serves a few days per week as a Diabetes Pharmacist at the Mary & Dick Allen Diabetes Center at Hoag Hospital in Irvine where he provides both one-one one and group consultations relating to type 1 diabetes, type 2 diabetes, and gestational diabetes. He regularly volunteers his time for the American Diabetes Association.  He sits on the editorial board of 2 well known medical journals. He has published over 45 articles both peer and non-peer review. He has completed research and been funded for more than $95,000. He speaks annually for TCOYD as well as for the ADA. Dr. Pham was also the president of the Orange County Society of Health System Pharmacists.

Dr. Pham received his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of the Pacific in 2001. He completed a residency in general medicine at St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Stockton, California. He was a faculty member at Long Island University (LIU), College of Pharmacy from 2002-2007 and also served as an internal medicine preceptor at Kings County Hospital Center, both in Brooklyn, New York. Dr. Pham has been a member of the faculty at Western University of Health Sciences since 2007 and a Diabetes Pharmacist at the Mary & Dick Allen Diabetes Center at Hoag Hospital since 2009. He enjoys reading, spending time with family, and staying active.
