Michelle Connell, R.N., is a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (C.D.C.E.S.). She has been a registered nurse since 1999 and is a Certified Diabetes Educator.

Since 2011, she has been providing diabetes self-management education and support to hospitalized patients and their families in accordance with the American Diabetes Association (ADA) Standards of Care. In this capacity, she meets patients where they are at in their healthcare journey, encouraging, motivating, and educating patients to meet their individual needs.
