Auxiliary Membership

Nondiscrimination/Placement

The Auxiliary of Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian accepts volunteers on the basis of merit, qualifications and competence. Acceptance as a volunteer is not influenced by race, color, national origin, religion or sex. Placement is based on the needs of the hospital. Every effort will be made to accommodate your schedule and areas of interest, but we cannot guarantee a position.

Health Screening/Tuberculosis (TB) Testing/ Flu Vaccine

A health screening by Employee Health Services is required annually. An annual TB test/health screening questionnaire is a requirement by our regulatory agency.

The flu vaccine is given by the hospital every flu season. If one does not wish to have the vaccine, a mask must be worn during flu season.
