Hoag Hospital announces new Foundation Executive Director

Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian announced today the addition of Flynn Andrizzi, Ph.D., as the senior vice president and executive director of Hoag Hospital Foundation. Dr. Andrizzi was selected following an extensive national search process from a pool of highly qualified candidates.

Dr. Andrizzi joins Hoag with over 20 years of experience in fundraising and marketing. Over the past 15 years, he worked for several large universities including serving as the chief development officer at a large public university’s foundation. Dr. Andrizzi also participated in the planning and implementation of several comprehensive multi-million-dollar campaigns, including the successful completion of a university’s $1 billion campaign.

“Flynn’s extensive expertise in leading successful campaigns for a variety of public and private institutions makes him ideally qualified to lead our foundation in maintaining ongoing community support for Hoag during this historic time in our history,” says Dr. Richard Afable, Hoag President and CEO.

Dr. Andrizzi joins Hoag concurrent with the opening of Hoag Hospital Irvine later this year. He will direct day-to-day operations of Hoag Hospital Foundation, which generated revenue of more than $23 million in 2009 and supports more than 3,600 active 552 Club members.
