Hoag Hospital in Newport Beach has been named one of the nation's 50 top cardiovascular hospitals for 2017 by Truven Health Analytics, which provides information and suggestions for improving the cost and quality of healthcare, according to a news release.
Hoag was the only California community hospital to make the list. It was also included in the 2016 listing.
“Hoag is proud to be recognized nationally as one of America's top cardiovascular hospitals by Truven Health Analytics,” Tom Lonergan, executive director of Hoag's Jeffrey M. Carlton Heart and Vascular Institute, said in a statement. “Our specialized team of physicians, nurses, staff and management continue to deliver the highest quality care and exceptional patient outcomes to our great community and beyond.”
