Hoag Hospital in Newport Beach recently opened a Womanology center, a specialty clinic for pelvic floor disorders.
“What's so special about Womanology is that it serves women of all ages, starting with the teen years all the way to menopause and beyond,” Salpi Salibian, director of clinical operations and program development for women's outpatient health and wellness, said in a statement. “We have specialized programs to address the specific needs of all women in a fully supportive and compassionate manner.”
Womanology operated a private clinic in Irvine for 12 years before opening a second spot in Fullerton, according to a news release. Hoag acquired both sites in 2014.
The hospital offers a similar service for men called Restore Him.
