Epic AI In Basket Draft Response, Chart Summary, In Basket Categorization Enabled AI features in Epic to streamline physician workflows saving providers significant time
• AI In Basket Draft response implemented 11/20/24 that allows providers to generate draft replies to in-basket messages using generative AI.
• AI Chart Summary implemented 8/28/24 for 20 providers summarizes a subset of a patient's notes to save time. The system identifies resent notes of interest to generate a short summary of pertinent details.
• AI In Basket Automatic Message Categorization implemented 7/24/24 enabled to analyze and categorize Patient Advice Request Messages
Oracle ERP Project progress • More than 100 team members from HR, Finance, Supply Chain, and IT formed the project team and worked in lockstep to align processes with modern best practices.
• Nearly 500 design sessions have been completed and workshops to identify and define key business requirements that will server as the backbone of the new system.
• Key milestones completed are designed and finalized new chart of accounts, delivered the first wave of system integrations and completed initial testing phases to validate system configurations.
Enterprise Clinical IT Governance (CITG) • Implemented an Enterprise Optimization process to streamline incoming requests for Epic enhancements and new products
• IT completed over 600 requests including quick wins, small enhancements and large projects
• Notable accomplishments: Implemented Perigen, Expanded Leaf monitoring and implemented SolvHealth
IT Advisory Councils • Formed IT Advisory Councils within IT to be the 'voice' of the staff
• Nine councils represented the IT department to make recommendations on process improvements, technology recommendations, and enhance IT's customer experience.
