Elaine has been a Certified Massage Therapist since 2010. Over the years massage therapy has been more than just a career for her; it has become a passion in which she has made it her mission to learn and apply her skills to tailor her sessions to the individual. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology, concentrating in exercise science from Cal Poly Pomona. She also received her Massage Therapist Certificate from Everest College and a certificate in Orthopedic Technology from Rio Hondo College.

Since achieving her degree in massage, Elaine has been able to specialize her modalities through Western and Eastern massage techniques such as Swedish, deep tissue, prenatal, cupping, myofacial release, stretching, injury rehabilitation and trigger point therapies. Through the years she has been able to practice her skills in various settings such as in the spa, clinical settings, and in teaching massage to students at Southern California University of Health Science. She has had the opportunity to work alongside many multidisciplinary teams including physical therapists, chiropractors and athletic trainers.

·Her greatest joy thus far has been sharing her knowledge to the next generation of massage therapists and working with fellow professionals on the common goal of helping the client. She also loves the Dodgers and women’s soccer, health science, music, family time and being outdoors.
