Eric Cheung is a Senior Vice President, and the Chief Legal Officer and General Counsel of Hoag. In this role, Eric oversees all legal affairs across the Hoag enterprise. Eric counsels executive management and the Board of Directors on significant transactional, litigation, regulatory, and corporate matters. Such matters revolve around a wide range of strategic and operational concerns, including enforcing and protecting Hoag’s legal interests in mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, affiliations, commercial contracts, and lawsuits. Eric is responsible for risk management and advises on healthcare fraud and abuse, privacy, licensing, real estate, intellectual property, and employment issues.

Eric earned his Bachelor’s degree at the University of California, Berkeley, and his law degree at the University of Southern California, Gould School of Law.
