Michael Gam

• Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Hoag Clinic

As Vice president and Chief Financial Officer for Hoag Clinic, Michael Gam is responsible for the Clinic’s financial functions, including financial planning and analysis, M&A, revenue cycle management and performance improvement. His career spans more than 30 years of healthcare financial management, business leadership and corporate strategy.

Prior to joining Hoag in 2020, Michael served as CFO for Prospect Medical Group. Before that, from 2010 to 2018, he served as CFO for Brown & Toland Medical Group, and from 1991 to 2010, he served as CFO for Talbert Medical Group (a Southern California Medical Group).

Earlier in his career, Michael held senior-level positions at City of Hope Hospital and MedPartners, Inc.

Michael has served as a board member for a Hospice entity as well as America’s Physician Group/APG (formerly CAPG).

Michael received his degree in Business Economics in Denmark, where he worked in public accounting.
