MaCecilia Fernandez, BSN, RN

Cecilia is the Breast Imaging Navigator at the Sue J. Gross Comprehensive Breast Center at Hoag Hospital Newport Beach. Cecilia has been in Hoag Imaging and Breast Surgical Services for 8 years. She started as a full-time Front Office I at Hoag Imaging in Aliso Viejo in 2005, while she pursued her LVN career and graduated with honors in 2009. In 2019, she was rehired as a part-time LVN at Hoag Breast Center in Irvine while continuing her education for her BSN. She graduated with honors, earning Magna Cum Laude in 2021 from West Coast University and successfully passed her boards. As a licensed Breast Patient Navigator, Cecilia is responsible for the coordination of care from the time of abnormal imaging through the completion of treatment.
