Laura Topp is the Clinical Nurse Navigator at Hoag Breast Center Newport Beach where she navigates patients through the numerous surgical options available. She has 23 years of Oncology nursing experience. Laura was the charge nurse of a large urban Pediatric Oncology Unit for over 10 years. She also was the Manager of an Adult Outpatient Infusion Center, where she was directly involved with Oncology clinical trials. Additionally, she assisted with the start-up of an Infusion Center at a new Oncology Practice. Laura has extensive experience in Oncology Care Case Management and had a lead role in implementing a successful Palliative Care Program. She is a member of ONS (Oncology Nursing Society), and has volunteered, raised donations and participated in events for various non-profit fundraising childhood and adult cancer organizations. Laura believes in taking time to listen and understand each patient’s particular needs. She provides highly professional care with a caring and compassionate approach.
