Elissa Vong, PT, DPT
Elissa received her Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Sciences from the University of California, Irvine, where she was the President and Founder of the Exercise Science and Physiology Club which focused on spreading awareness about proper nutrition and exercise for long-term well-being. She then went on to receive her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Southern California, where she developed a passion for pelvic health.
Elissa loves helping others and knew since high school that she wanted to become a physical therapist after her own positive experiences as a patient, finding the field to be very inspiring. She believes that empowering patients with knowledge on their diagnoses and symptoms is the most important aspect of patient care. Elissa has an affinity for treating various diagnoses encompassing vaginismus, incontinence, pregnancy, and post-partum. She also loves to research how gut health and nutrition can affect pelvic floor dysfunction.
In her free time, Elissa enjoys hiking, pilates, trying new foods, drinking matcha and boba, and spending time with family and friends.
