About Dr. Banker
Dr. Rajesh Banker is an electrophysiologist with expertise in the treatment of common and complex heart rhythm disorders, and the author of numerous peer reviewed publications. He is experienced in new ablation techniques and cardiac rhythm devices such as leadless (wireless) pacemakers.
Dr. Banker attended the Honors Program for Medical Education at Northwestern University. He completed an internal medicine residency at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles and then completed his cardiology fellowship at California Pacific Medical Center. He then went on to complete a subspecialty fellowship in clinical cardiac electrophysiology at UCLA/Kaiser Permanente Sunset Medical Center. Dr. Banker is board certified in cardiology and clinical cardiac electrophysiology.
Dr. Banker maintains privileges to perform nearly all available cardiac electrophysiology procedures, including highly complex arrhythmia ablations and all cardiac rhythm management devices such as pacemakers and implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICDs).
