About Dr. Day

Dr. Day’s grandfather was a nurse after serving in the war and continually encouraged him to pursue a career in medicine as he was growing up. Combined with his love of science, anatomy and the human body, Dr. Day chose a career path that would allow him the opportunity to help people.

Practicing medicine abroad opened Dr. Day’s mind to things that weren’t found in and couldn’t be learned within the confines of a textbook. Exposure to programs in other countries shaped the way Dr. Day approaches and handles medicine. Reflecting on how healthcare systems, and their disparities, can be viewed differently based on cultural impacts, he understands how fortunate he is to be a physician in the United States where delivering the best care is attainable.

In his practice, Dr. Day strives to present patients with the best evidence-based medicine, working alongside them to get the outcomes they are seeking. An honest open line of communication and determination permits him to keep the stress level of his pregnant patients to a minimum, or ideally, absent. It’s imperative that his patients know he is there to provide expert and compassionate care and see them through their journey during one of the happiest times in their life.

Dr. Day received his medical degree from The University of Massachusetts in Boston, MA, and completed his obstetrics & gynecology at Kaiser Permanente in Santa Clara, California and finished his maternal fetal medicine fellowship at University of California Irvine.

Outside of the office, Dr. Day enjoys reading, playing basketball and spending time with his family.
