Hoag Health Center – Huntington Beach Celebrates 20 years in “Surf City”
Huntington Beach, Calif. – Demonstrating its legacy of providing the highest quality health care services to the residents of Huntington Beach, Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian is celebrating the 20th anniversary of the groundbreaking of Hoag Health Center – Huntington Beach.
“We have always been a part of this community and we’re grateful to the City of Huntington Beach for being our partner for the past 20 years,” said Richard Afable M.D., President and Chief Executive Officer of Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian. “Many people do not realize that more of our patients come from Huntington Beach than any other city in Orange County.”
Twenty percent of Hoag’s outpatients and 18 percent of its inpatients are residents of Huntington Beach and more than 65,000 Huntington Beach residents visited a Hoag facility in 2009. Hoag Health Center – Huntington Beach, which broke ground in May 1990, offers more than 45 Hoag-affiliated physicians in 16 specialties. It is part of a network of seven Hoag Health Centers that provides Orange County residents convenient access to high quality health services.
Hoag Health Center-Huntington Beach includes a Hoag Imaging Center which provides CT, X-ray, mammography, ultrasound and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) services and is also home to the following health care services:
