Maria Aguilar has over 25 years of experience as a Community Health Worker serving the community and developing community programs. Prior to Hoag, Maria worked as a Parent Coach in both Orange County and Los Angeles County supporting parents and children with in-home parent education services. Maria is well versed in county programs and is an asset when application assistance is needed. Maria has extensive experience with resource brokering and creating healthy relationships with her clients. Maria utilizes her interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with community partners and prides herself in being a liaison between the community and health and social service providers. With her years of experience, Maria is in pulse with the community and is dedicated to improving the health and well-being of her clients. Additionally, Maria has a Medical Assistant Certification, is trained in Mental Health First Aid, and is bilingual in English and Spanish.
