Nicole Ohmes, LCSW, is the social work case manager for the Fudge Family Acute Rehabilitation Center. Nicole completed her Master’s in Social Work at the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 2001. She completed her Bachelor’s in Social Work at the University of Kansas in 1994. Her background is dominant in hospital social work/case management. She also has extensive experience in foster care and adoption. Nicole believes a hospital social worker helps patients and their families navigate the process of illness and injury, from hospitalization to recovery, and assists patients in dealing with the sometimes-overwhelming effects of hospitalization.
