Welcome to the Fudge Family Acute Rehabilitation Center
Our compassionate care environment promotes recovery. From the design of the center to the design of our team, our specialists have thought of every detail to help you return to independent or modified independent living.
Available to adults who have been treated for neurologic or orthopedic issues, traumatic brain injury or stroke, our 24-bed center provides comprehensive care with 24-hour nursing, full time medical director oversight and a team of certified experts. We also provide state-of-the-art equipment and access to Hoag education programs, as well as treatment in the therapy garden and a putting green.

Next Steps: Outpatient Rehabilitation Services
Once patients have finished their stay at the Fudge Family Acute Rehabilitation Center, the physician and the interdisciplinary acute rehabilitation team may prescribe Outpatient Rehabilitation Services as the next step. This continuum of care at Hoag allows for ongoing collaboration among the interdisciplinary rehabilitation teams, with the goal of returning our patients to their highest level of functioning and optimizing patient outcomes. Patients can expect skilled treatment techniques integrated with patient and caregiver education as they continue their individualized recovery program.
The outpatient rehabilitation team includes physical therapists and assistants, occupational therapists and speech-language pathologists. These therapists have advanced certification or training in neurology, orthopedics, vestibular rehabilitation, geriatrics, lymphedema, pelvic floor, hand rehabilitation, voice and swallowing.
