Children and Diabetes

CHOC Children’s (CHOC) in collaboration with the Allen Diabetes Center now offers pediatric endocrinology care, education and support services for children with diabetes and their families.

CHOC Children’s also works with the Allen Diabetes Center and a wide array of community agencies such as the (Newport Mesa Unified School District, PADRE, Share our Selves, Latino Health Access, American Diabetes Association, and Families Costa Mesa) to support the prevention of pediatric obesity and diabetes in the community.

In partnership with the PADRE (Pediatric-Adolescent Diabetes Research and Education) Foundation, the Allen Diabetes Center offers FREE events for young adults and children with T1D and their parents.
