Panera Bread recently helped raised money for the Hoag Breast Center by selling pink ribbon bagels.
Last week officials from Hoag, Hoag Hospital Foundation, Panera Bread, physicians and breast cancer survivors gathered for breakfast to celebrate the $4,000 raised during Panera’s Pink Ribbon Bagel promotion in October.
The money generated by the fundraiser will be used for several critical programmatic developments, including more robust breast cancer prevention services and new screening and diagnosis equipment, hospital officials reported.
